Genius Basic

The miniaturised version of Genius is now available with Genius Basic: a version with more compact dimensions, made in Coral®. A totally recessed luminaire for indoor use, Genius Basic satisfies Contract Business needs, with the usual technical reliability of Buzzi & Buzzi. An efficient product with high performances, able to achieve 540 lm emission from the usual 20 mm (0.79”) hole, but even more compact and installable in a cavity of only 80 mm (3.15”). As in the whole Genius range, the Basic version has an electrical part which can be removed through the light hole, thanks to a mechanism that makes it easy to pull the LED light source out and replace it. The only visible aperture is the light emission hole measuring 20 mm (0.79”), so there is no need for any inspection hatch, nor for invasive maintenance operations.

NAKED IP65

The outdoors version of Genius Basic Naked is now available in the Basic Naked IP65 model. This totally recessed luminaire for outdoor use has been engineered to achieve an IP65 protection level. Since it is a new version of the Naked model, this product extends the concept of total surface integration to any material and contexts and also achieves the potentials typical of the Basic line.
Genius Basic Naked IP65 is a very compact product, a synthesis of Buzzi & Buzzi research in terms of versatility, efficiency and reliability: a light flow of 540 lm, installable in a cavity of only 80 mm (3.15”), with IP65 protection.
It can also be installed on wood, cement, mirror, marble and industrial modules with a thickness of from 12 mm (0.47”) to a maximum of 30 mm (1.18”). Typically Genius, the only visible part is the light emission hole measuring 20 mm (0.79”), from which the LED light source can be pulled out thanks to a system which makes it easy to replace the light source, so there is no need for any inspection hatch, nor for invasive maintenance.

BASIC SLOPE

The “Slope” version of Genius, designed for the Contract world, is a very compact product which can be installed in a cavity measuring only 80 mm (3.15”).
Genius Basic Slope is a totally recessed luminaire for indoor use, made in Coral® for this new variant.
The asymmetrical light emission hole, with a 40° angled axis, guarantees a light emission of 540 lm, with possibility of a wall-washer effect.
The electrical part can be removed through the light hole, thanks to a mechanism that makes it easy to pull the LED light source out and replace it, so there is no need for any inspection hatch, nor for invasive maintenance operations.

GENIUS BRASS

Genius Brass is a total recessed indoor luminaire made of AirCoral® and installable on plasterboards or brick ceilings. The light emission hole, only 20 mm wide, is provided with a brass cylinder which gives a precious touch to a product already extremely elegant. Genius Brass’ characteristics enhance visual comfort and generates a warm light which makes the environments more welcoming.

The electrical part can be extracted directly from the emission hole with a simple hand gesture. This is possible thanks to the push-pull mechanism, which facilitates the eventual extraction and replacing of the LED source in case of maintaining.

GENIUS CURVE

Genius’ volumes become softer, giving birth to Genius Curve, a total recessed indoor luminaire made of AirCoral® and installable on plasterboard or brick ceilings. Its perfect circular form allows a higher level of decorative potential: light scatters uniformly in the environment, elegantly sliding on the round emission hole. Form, light and technique meet and combine, giving great plasticity to the ceiling and guaranteeing an unrepeatable visual experience. The electrical part can be extracted directly from the emission hole with a simple hand gesture. This is possible thanks to the push-pull mechanism, which facilitates the eventual extraction and replacing of the LED source in case of maintaining.

GENIUS NAKED

Genius Naked is the evolution of the Genius family, extending the total surface integration concept to any material and context. It is a totally recessed luminaire, for ceiling-mounted indoor installation, which can be installed on any surface: wood, cement, mirror, marble, industrial modules with a thickness from 5 mm (0.2”) to a maximum of 20 mm (0.79”).
The only visible part is the light emission hole of only 20 mm (0.79”), capable of generating a powerful light beam.
In fact, the “Naked” version retains all the performances of the Genius, with the electrical part which can be removed through the light hole, thanks to a push-pull mechanism making it easy to pull the LED light source out and replace it, with no need for any inspection hatch, nor for invasive maintenance operations.

Genius guarantees a perfect lighting in every environment is may be installed in: totally disappearing recessed luminaire for indoor spaces, made of AirCoral® and installable on plasterboard or brick ceilings, is able to emit an incredible light intensity for just a 20 mm emission hole, so tiny that it disappears when the product is turned off.
